Medical Inflatable Bed Air Caps
When the Ambulance Services are attending an incident they may need assistance to move a patient, medics can put them onto these inflatable beds which inflate in 30 seconds.
The Problem:
The cap was cracking and leaking and the air is coming out of it, resulting in less efficient results and potentially costly replacements.
The Solution:
We 3D Scanned the existing screw thread cap, created a CAD model, scaled it up and 3D printed a new one in a Nylon material. We glued it over the current cracked cap which sealed the air when screwed shut. This has enabled the bed to be used effectively into the future.
